WELCOME TO TREKCONVENTION
Your first stop for Trek headlines, fan event news, and sci-fi
STAR TREK LIVES!
Thanks for beaming in.
My room is booked at the Rio for the 58-Year Misson Las Vegas convention. And for the first time, I'm arriving a day early (Wednesday) to get a jump on check-in and registration. I really hope the reduced stress and the chance to socialize with the other attendees will be well worth the extra cost.
If you couldn't make the 2023 show, be sure to check out the pix in the STLV23 tab. I'm still (still) sorting through all the panel photos and the incredible Legacy Panel and the cast of Star Trek the Next Generation, Star Trek: Picard and Terry Matalas.
If you follow the TrekConvention podcast you know a I'm a huge photo ops fan - this year was a personal best at 7 photos (6 in a single day). Are you a photo ops fan - let me know as I'm thinking of adding an upload section to start sharing all that photo-op goodness
Are you interested in joining us on the podcast?
Head over to the TrekConvention podcast page and let us know. And while Eleanor Brittany has been doing a great job with the weekly 5-2-Watch, look for the new episodes with Bill and Jenna - just what you need to get your convention fix (we hope).

REMEMBERING
The Star Trek universe seems a little less bright as we mourn the passing of Kenneth Mitchell.
Known to Trek fans as the ferocious Klingon Kor in the first season of Star Trek Discovery, Mitchell went on to play Kol-Sha, Tenavik and Aurellio in later seasons.
His convention appearances and battle with ALS raised awareness of the disease within the Star Trek community, and his loss will be deeply felt.

CONVENTION UPDATES
While the Las Vegas convention is about 120 days away, if you’re interested in visiting WonderCon - it's this weekend - March 29-31. Ticket are still available and honestly, I'm VERY tempted.
LA ComicCon was great fun and the photo-op with Matt Smith was well worth the long lines. And, thanks to pre-order at 2023 prices, I already have my tickets for 2024!
Check back here and I'll update you as soon as I get more details on more of the latest cons - and check out the STLV23 tab for impressive panel and event photos.
Got a genre con you want to promote? Use the event calendar form to let me know and I'll do my best to get it posted!
